Conolly’s Plot is where the oldest teak plantation finds its home. Named after H. V. Conolly, the man who was the reason for such a great plantation and the tea museum, also the then Collector of Malabar, this plot offers its visitors a feast of wilderness. One needs to cross the longest hanging cable bridge of Kerala, that is built across the Chaliyar river, in order to reach the Conolly’s Plot. This is the only man-made teak plantation in India.
