Meesapulimala is the second highest peak in Kerala (Western Ghats) after Anamudi.<\/p>\n<p>Meesapulimala\u00a0peak-Standing tall at 2,640 mts above sea level, it is the second highest peak in South India<\/p>\n<p>From Munnar, you can reach the base camp of Meeshapulimala by passing Aruvikad Estate via Mattupetti. Trekking to Meesapulimala is organized by the Kerala Forest Development Corporation.<\/p>\n<p>Unauthorized trekking to Meesapulimala is not allowed.<\/p>\n<p>Rhododendron arboreum, the national flower of Nepal and the state tree of Uttarakhand and Nagaland, is abundant in Meesapulimala.<\/p>\n<p>A valley here is named Rhododendron Valley.
