PROGRAM SCHEDULE<\/p>\n
Day \u2013 1:<\/p>\n
Arrive at Thekkady and report at Tribal Heritage (TH) EDC Office (Near Bamboo Grove) at 02.00 PM. Upon taking entry tickets, you will be transferred to Boat landing by shuttle bus by our staff. On reaching boat landing, transfer to Edapalayam Jetty by boat.\u00a0You will be guided to the watch tower by a short trek. Check in at the watch tower. Evening Tea, dinner and comfortable stay will be provided in the serene wilderness and will marks the end of first day.<\/p>\n
Day \u2013 2:<\/p>\n
Early Moring the guide will take you for a short trek and birding.\u00a0After the trek, breakfast will be provided.\u00a0Rest of the time at leisure at the Tower. Check out after lunch. You will be dropped at boat landing by boat, from where you can board return bus.<\/p>\n

Animals sightings are a matter of chance, be Patient<\/p>\n
Please do not litter the surroundings<\/p>\n
Treat the Tiger Reserve Area\/wilderness area with respect.<\/p>\n
Give way to animals first<\/p>\n
Appreciate the colour and sounds of nature.<\/p>\n
Dress in colours that blend with the natural environment.<\/p>\n
Take pictures, but without disturbing wildlife.<\/p>\n
Respect local customs.<\/p>\n
Keep a reasonable distance from wild animals, and do not provoke them.<\/p>\n
Dispose waste responsibly: carry back all non-biodegradable litter, and leave campsites litter-free before departing.<\/p>\n
When in a vehicle, remember wild animals have right of way.<\/p>\n
Keep to the speed limit, don\u2019t use the horn, and do not startle animals.<\/p>\n
Do not talk loudly or play loud music.<\/p>\n
Do not get out of the vehicle or approach wild animals.<\/p>\n
Do not approach animals closer than 15 m or disturb them while they are resting.<\/p>\n
Do not take away flora and fauna in the form of cuttings, seeds or roots.<\/p>\n
Do not feed wild animals.<\/p>\n
Do not stop the vehicle not more than 5 minutes in the reserve<\/p>\n
Do not light fires, or smoke inside protected areas. Accidental forest fires cause irreparable damage.<\/p>\n
Carrying of guns, fire arms, inflammable materials are strictly prohibited, as per the provisions of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, and is punishable by law.<\/p>\n
Obey the instructions of staff and guides.<\/p>\n
