You can Reach At Mangalore by train and you can walk to the KSRTC ( Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) Bus Station

KSRTC buses available from 5:30 am to Chikkamangalur and reach there within 4 hrs.

From outside the Chikmagalur bus stand, you can get an auto to Mullayanagiri, 800 rs – 1000 per auto, if there are more people, the per person amount will decrease.

On the way back, you can reach Chikmagalur, you have to reach before 5pm, otherwise it will take a long time to get a bus back to Mangalore..!
