Meeshapulimala is a mountain located in Munnar in Idukki district. Meesapulimala is the second highest peak in Kerala (Western Ghats) after Anamudi.
Meesapulimala peak-Standing tall at 2,640 mts above sea level, it is the second highest peak in South India
From Munnar, you can reach the base camp of Meeshapulimala by passing Aruvikad Estate via Mattupetti. Trekking to Meesapulimala is organized by the Kerala Forest Development Corporation.
Unauthorized trekking to Meesapulimala is not allowed.
Rhododendron arboreum, the national flower of Nepal and the state tree of Uttarakhand and Nagaland, is abundant in Meesapulimala.
A valley here is named Rhododendron Valley. Tents are available at the basecamp and accommodation is also available at Rhodomansion in Rhodovalley, 8000 feet above sea level, five kilometers away.

2. Jeep trekking to sunrise mountain 🌄 (10 km up & down )
3. Trekking by walk to Meeshapulimala hill top⛰ ( 7 Km ) Up & down
4. Break fast + lunch 🥞🍚
5. Return by jeep to Munnar Town 👋 ( 25 km )
