Mangalam Dam

Mangalam Dam- a secret natural wonder of Palakkad (Palghat) is- perhaps, the wildest dam destination due to its dense canopy. Built across the Cherukunnath River, the reservoir and the hedge woods surrounding is an abode of rich and exotic floral and faunal species, as well as plantations of pepper, coffee, and rubber.
