Pierce Leslie Bungalow
An amazing fusion of Dutch, Kerala, and Portuguese style architecture- the Pierce Leslie Bungalow is one of the many popular tourist attractions in Kerala. The building was constructed in 1962 and served as the main office building for Pierce Leslie & Company during that time. As a replica of the Fort Kochi colonial bungalow, this building also reflects Portuguese, Dutch, and local design elements. A distinctive feature of the ground floor is the roof made up of wood panels. There are arched entrances, carved doors, and wide rooms. There are also waterfront verandas that appreciate a calm walk near them.
