Chandragiri Fort
The Chandragiri Fort, which lies at the confluence of the Payaswini River and the Arabian Sea in Kasaragod, holds much historical significance. Built by Sivappa Naik of Bedanore in the 17th century, this fort stands to this day fighting deteriorations with time. Perched on top of hill ruins, Chandragiri’s ancient Kizhur Siva Temple is a popular place to watch the sunset.
