On one of the roads leading to Thekkady, the PowerHouse waterfalls are within riding distance from Munnar, in the Idukki district of Kerala. Also known as Chinnakanal Waterfalls, the waterfalls descend 2000 meters down a vertical rock face. On the way to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady, the spot is a perfect stopover due to its picturesque mountain ranges.
