Chowara Beach

Chowara Beach, just a few kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram, is immaculate and alluring, with outstanding fishing opportunities. The beach is a favorite of tourists for picnics. Chowara Ayyappa Temple, located nearby on a hilltop, offers even better stunning views of the beach. It is also worth visiting Azhimalathara Beach if you’re in the area. In general, it is believed that the sea recedes from the coast during the monsoons and that the beach remains untouched.
