Kattikayam Falls is located at a distance of 2-3 km from Illukkal Kallu. If you are coming from the Illukkal rock side, go to the first left, that is the crossroads to Elavisapunjira and Vagamon. After about 2 km, you have to take a narrow road. Signboards are there, but sometimes you just ignore them and pass it on. You can park your vehicle on the roadside and walk another 1 km to reach the waterfalls. Passing through this 1km private property, after crossing some private places and a small river, you will reach the top of Katikayam Falls.
