KIRTADS Ethnological Museum
The ethnological museum is a primary wing of KIRTADS- the Kerala Institute for Research, Training & Development Studies. It was established long back in 1972 in the heart of Kozhikode city. KIRTADS got established exclusively to conduct research that will assist in the development of the scheduled communities in Kerala.
At this ethnological museum, one can see ancient artifacts, tools, and devices used by tribal communities in Kerala. A comprehensive library with books about anthropology and sociology is a welcome addition.
