Muttil Mala
Muttil Mala. The name of this tiny and charming hill is derived from the name of the village that boasts it. Muttil village is one of the counted villages in Kerala where the natural wild natural beauty persists. One can reach this hill after a 2 km travel from the village, and it is marked as one of the best trekking trails in Wayanadu. This hill area is also famous for the astonishing sunrise and sunset accompanied by a soothing ambiance. For the ones who want a simple trek that doesn’t require any permission from authorities. It will take approximately 1.5 hours to reach the peak where one can enjoy the aerial views of the below Muttil village and the nearby Chembra peak. As this area is an underdeveloped one, one cannot expect proper facilities in and around the area.
