Regional Science Centre and Planetarium

It was with strong determination to propagate science that the Regional Science Centre and Planetarium was established in the Jaffer Khan colony near Kozhikode town in 1997. Equipped with an excellent projection system imported from Carl Zeiss in Germany, the planetarium is a marvelous system that demonstrates the universe, planets, and stars in the most entertaining way. A total number of 250 seats are set up in this planetarium and approximately 1200 shows are executed here annually.
The Science Centre, which has a similar mission, is located on the same compound. Many interactive programs like exhibitions, seminar presentations, etc. are conducted here. An HD 3D Theatre also is set up in the nearby area, which adds enough attraction to this center, along with the statues and aquarium.
