State Museum & Zoo in Thrissur

Home to a huge variety of flora and fauna including the Lion-Tailed Macaque and Sloth Bear, the “Thrissur Zoo” or the “State Museum & Zoo in Thrissur”, is a popular tourist destination situated right at the heart of Thrissur. It is considered one of the oldest zoos in the whole country. Also, this is the second Zoological Park in Kerala. The zoo compound has several museums and gardens which show the heritage of Thrissur.
