Thangalpara, Kolahalamedu

This mountain peak is where pilgrimage and the panoramic view of Vagamon converge to form an adorable trip for the traveler in you. One can spot a large round-shaped rock at the peak which has a small prayer area built by its side and is a famous Muslim Pilgrimage center. Originally the tomb of Sheikh Fariduddin who was an Afghanistan Sufi saint this sacred place gets filled with huge devotees often. Additionally, this peak is a great spot from which one can get a delightful aerial view of Vagamon and the nearby area.
One can either choose between a trek, or a hike by jeep via the mud-rock roads to reach the summit.
