Vizhinjam
Vizhinjam has been one of the hottest topics in society since the 2000s because of a deep seaport planned here. Furthermore, Vizhinjam also holds the distinction of being home to the Vizhinjam Cut-Rock Cave Temple, a Hindu temple from the 8th century, and one ofthe smallest one in south India. The cave temple- considered to be one of the oldest rock-cut cave temples in Kerala- currently is a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India.
