Kalakkayam Waterfalls

Kalakkayam Waterfalls in Thiruvananthapuram boasts one of the most rigorous trekking destinations in the entire state. One can only arrive at these remote waterfalls by transiting both roads and forest trails. Due to the dense woodland enveloping the region, it is nearly impossible to find your route to your final destination without the help of a local guide since there are no signboards in the area. There, the ripples of ice-cold, pure water sluice towards the ground, where they form a pool- that is famous for its therapeutic qualities. Agasthyavanam Forest feeds the waterfall, which is part of the Mankayam Stream. Trekkers and bird watchers will be in heaven here.
