An adorable sunset point and a super-scenic viewpoint at the heart of Wayanadu- a simple explanation of Kaduvakuzhi can be like this. Nicely set on the premises of Karapuzha dam in Ambalavayal village, this viewpoint offers one way to explore the nearby cave that is believed to have housed tigers inside it. Local lore is that it is the cave that gifted the name “Kaduvakuzhi” to this place as “tiger” refers to “kaduva” in Malayalam. Just as the name implies, this place is a little bit dangerous- not because of any tigers, but the tall cliffs that one has to traverse while on the trek. Definitely, it is one of the best sunset points across Kerala for a rejuvenation searcher. This viewpoint is part of Cheengeri rock adventure Tourism (Cheengeri Mala).
