Pookode Lake
Pookode Lake, the tourism gem of Wayanad is a scenic lake, which has the shape of India when overlooked in the aerial view, is surrounded by the wavy Western Ghats. This lake with greenery all around is the freshwater lake with the highest altitude in Kerala, and it has the record of being the smallest lake too, spanning only 5 hectares.
