Vellari Mala
Embraced by a luxuriant forest canopy of trickling rivulets, cascading waterfalls, and gurgling cascades, Vellari Mala is a serene haven to escape to and enjoy nature as it is. At many points along its course, the Kanjirapuzha River, a tributary of the River Chaliyar, forms cascades and forms waterfalls. Trekkers can find countless pristine picnic spots in the area because of the land’s beauty and topography. With its captivating waterfalls and lush green landscape, this is the ideal spot for a nature stroll. The most famous mountain peak in the Vellarimala range is Vavul Mala. It lies at a junction between the districts of Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad. The shape of Vavulmala is similar to that of a camel’s hump.
