Peruvannamuzhi
Peruvannamuzhi, locally known as Peruvannamoozhy is an eco-tourism village situated near Chakkittapara and is a part of the Malabar Wildlife Sanctuary. This naturally sound calm village is noted for its rare and rich flora and fauna that includes spice crops and medicinal herbs also. This place is being developed as a major tourism point for Kerala because of the rich biodiversity observed here encapsulated in the thick forests which form a part of the Western Ghats. Also, the Kuttiyadi Irrigation Project Dam located here adds even more possibilities for tourism in this area.
